The Ouya turd or treasure?

About 2.5 percent of 20 thousand polled are sold on it.  The largest portion at nearly 42% haven't heard of it at all.  Keep in mind that this is a poll from a website about video games and these are the people most likely to have heard about it.  And nearly half of them haven't.  The last 54% range from It looks like shit to I'll wait and see.  That's not a good sign.

I was thinking about buying one since they are going to be avaliable in a month to people that have not donated to the kickstarter. The only reason for me even considering it however was that the console has the ablility to play a whole bunch of emulators on it without having to do any kind of modification, light or heavy, to the console.

However, I just found out that it takes HDMI as it's output only. Well, bye bye OUYA.

Now, I know that is not a problem to many people that I talk to but it is for me. Especially since there is only one HDMI TV in the house that I live in and it does not belong to me. So OUYA is out for me.
