Buying a house in Almada, need a rental car to check properties

My wife and I decided to buy a small house in Almada, a suburb of Lisbon. We've looked at several options there, all pretty close to the resort area. The plan is to buy a place, rent it out most of the year, and come stay there ourselves during summer holidays. We need to fly over and check out what actually works for us, and while we're there we'll explore the area too. Driving around will make handling all the arrangements much easier, so we'll need a rental car. Where can we pick one up there?
